T. BALAI KARIMUN, Waspada.co.id – PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Cabang Tanjungbalai Karimun held a Socialization of the PHINNISI Ship Service System Application, Wednesday (18/10) at Aston Karimun Hotel, in Tanjungbalai Karimun, Riau Islands Province (Kepri).
In the socialization, several participants were present including the Class 1 Tanjungbalai Karimun Port Authority and Harbormaster’s Office (KSOP), the Indonesian National Shipowners Association/Tanjungbalai Karimun Indonesian National Shipowners Association (INSA) and ISAA Tanjungbalai Karimun, Terminal Owners for their own needs (TUKS), Shipping Agents, as well as Business, Operational, and Financial Divisions.
PHINNISI is a ship service operating system platform developed internally by Pelindo Group, it is End-To-End, fully integrated, providing features such as Order Management, Front-End and Back-End in the Ship Service process, and supporting the fulfillment of the Order-To-Cash and Record-To-Report cycles in one platform.
This ship service operating system development is in line with the strategic initiatives and work plans of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) management regarding World Class Port Transformation related to Port Operation Standardization and Port Operation Digitalization and Systemization.
The PHINNISI application has operational advantages, such as adaptive to user changes and needs through continuous improvements. In terms of security, it uses Cloud security tools to ensure application security. In terms of reliability, it uses the serverless concept to reduce the risk of failure. In terms of performance efficiency, it automatically scales resource use based on needs and eliminates unnecessary elements through a serverless architecture. As for cost optimization, it uses a Pay-as-you-go model, converting capital costs into variable costs.
Since January until August 2023, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) has implemented the PHINNISI application in 28 port branches, from Merauke branch to Dumai branch, and on October 25, 2023, it will be simultaneously implemented in 5 branches, namely Tanjung Pinang branch, Kuala Tanjung branch, Tanjungbalai Asahan branch, Bengkalis branch, and Tanjungbalai Karimun branch.
In his speech, the Plt. Head of Class I Tanjungbalai Karimun Port Authority and Harbormaster’s Office, Adi Affandi SH MH, expressed the hope that all relevant parties could fully support the standardization and implementation of the PHINNISI system in PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Tanjungbalai Karimun Branch.
General Manager (GM) of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 Tanjungbalai Karimun Branch, Yusrizal, in his speech, stated that the implementation of the PHINNISI application is concrete proof of Pelindo’s commitment to improve ship service and support the direction of the National Strategic Plan for Ports.
The application of PHINNISI in the PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Tanjungbalai Karimun Branch has received positive support and feedback from all participants in the socialization and they are eager to immediately implement it in ship services to replace the previous application.
