Among a crowd of Indonesian citizens residing in Russia, which included students, migrant workers, and members of the diaspora, President Prabowo took the time to interact with the children of an Indonesian-Russian couple. One of the sons bravely requested a Lego set from the President, and to everyone’s surprise, the request was granted immediately.
President Prabowo warmly greeted the crowd and approached the children of Ambar Rukmi, an Indonesian woman from Solo now residing in Russia. Engaging in a conversation with the children, Prabowo praised one of the boys for his charm and innocence, calling him “very handsome.” The young boy then asked the President if he spoke English in a humorous manner, to which Prabowo responded with laughter and warmth.
In a touching moment, the child expressed his desire for a Lego set, leading President Prabowo to direct his personal secretary to acquire a Lego set for the boy and his brother. This spontaneous gesture left a lasting impact on the parents, especially Ambar, who expressed her gratitude and desire for an Indonesian Consulate in St. Petersburg.
