President Prabowo Subianto is determined to make Indonesia’s National Children’s Day more impactful than just an annual celebration. With a focus on securing the future of the nation’s children, the government has rolled out three flagship programs targeting children’s well-being. These programs include Nutritious Free Meals (MBG), Free Health Checkups (CKG), and School Revitalization, aimed at ensuring children receive proper nutrition, healthcare, and access to safe learning environments to grow up smart, strong, and confident.

Nutritious Free Meals (MBG) aims to combat the issue of children going to school without eating breakfast, leading to focus and energy problems. The program doesn’t just provide food but also essential nutrients like iron to prevent conditions like anemia. Free Health Checkups cover essential health screenings for students, addressing the constitutional right to health for all citizens, including children. This comprehensive program not only provides access to healthcare services but also promotes preventive care to protect public health.

The School Revitalization Program is set to renovate 11,440 schools, prioritizing those with severe structural damage to create safe and dignified learning environments. With President Prabowo allocating significant funds to address the alarming number of damaged schools nationwide, the initiative aims to provide proper facilities for education. Recognizing the challenges faced, especially by girls, due to poor school conditions, the government is committed to ensuring that schools not only serve as places of learning but also safe and hygienic environments for all students.

With a focus on the holistic well-being of children, these programs underscore the government’s commitment to securing a brighter future for Indonesia’s youth. By addressing nutritional, healthcare, and educational needs, the initiatives align with the constitutional mandate to protect the rights and health of all citizens, paving the way for a stronger and healthier generation.
