The Free Health Check in Schools (CKG) program in Indonesia, which aims to reach 53 million students nationwide, covers all types of educational institutions, including public, private, and religious schools supervised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Hariqo Wibawa Satria, a Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), highlighted the importance of providing free health checks to all citizens, including students, in support of President Prabowo’s vision of a Golden Generation by 2045. The President’s strategic policies and priority programs, such as Free Nutritious Meals, Capacity Expansion of Public Hospitals, and Digital Learning Initiatives, reflect his commitment to investing in Indonesia’s youth for a thriving future. Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar affirmed the inclusion of all religious-based education units in the CKG program, underscoring the Ministry’s dedication to inclusive service delivery across different faiths. With over 12 million students eligible for CKG services under the Ministry’s supervision, the initiative is crucial in achieving the vision of a healthy, intelligent, and globally competitive generation by 2045. Minister Nasaruddin urged religious schools to actively support the program by providing necessary equipment and facilitating technical support, emphasizing the importance of monitoring implementation at the regional level to ensure the program’s success. Failure to comply with the CKG program will result in close attention and intervention from the Ministry to uphold the initiative’s integrity and effectiveness.
