Small and medium-sized business owners in Tangerang recently showed their warm welcome to President Prabowo Subianto during his visit to the Apkasi Otonomi Expo 2025 at ICE BSD. Tresya Avilaemalo, a representative of a small enterprise from West Sumba, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to showcase products like coffee, tea, chocolate, and woven fabrics from her region. She described the experience of participating in the event as extraordinary and appreciated the support provided by the President. Tresya also mentioned her hope for President Prabowo to visit West Sumba in the future, which would significantly benefit local entrepreneurs and contribute to food security programs.
Likewise, Ferdinan Endarto, a representative of small businesses from Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan, shared his hope for continuous promotional opportunities to help local cultures and products gain wider recognition. He highlighted the significance of initiatives that promote regional products, recognizing the unique communities and specialties of each region. Ferdinan also voiced his support for President Prabowo’s Koperasi Merah Putih initiative, aimed at empowering small enterprises and boosting the economy. He emphasized the program’s role in managing and assisting small businesses in Kapuas Regency.
