Ester Nenggokaka, a mother from Southwest Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, leads a simple life with dedication to providing for her two children. Her son, Lorensius Aganta, was underweight at 7 kilograms before benefiting from the Free Nutritious Meal (Makan Bergizi Gratis, MBG) program. Ester is grateful for the positive impact the program had on her son’s health. With the regular distribution of MBG meals, Ester notices a significant improvement in her son’s weight and looks forward to his next health check at the community clinic. Every morning, she receives a nutritious assortment of food for her children, maintaining a balanced diet with items like eggs, fish, meat, tofu, tempeh, and vegetables. Despite challenging circumstances, Ester remains hopeful for a brighter future, seeking further assistance from President Prabowo to improve their living standards. The meals provided through the MBG program bring nourishment and optimism for better days ahead to Ester and her family.
